Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of the statushawk.io website and the StatusHawk early-access list.

1. Who we are, and accepting these terms

The website is run by StatusHawk LLC, a Michigan limited liability company (“StatusHawk”, “we”, “us”). By using the website or joining the early-access list, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the website.

2. The early-access list

  • StatusHawk is in development and is not available yet.
  • Joining the list does not guarantee that you will get access to StatusHawk, and it does not create a contract for the StatusHawk service. Using the service will need its own terms, which we will publish before it opens.
  • We may email you about early access.
  • You can leave the list at any time by emailing hello@statushawk.io.

3. Using the website

Please don’t:

  • scrape the website, overload it, or interfere with how it works;
  • sign up automatically, for example with a script or a bot, or try to get around the security check;
  • sign anyone else up without their permission;
  • use the website to break the law.

4. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect personal information.

5. Intellectual property

The website, including its text and design and the StatusHawk name, belongs to StatusHawk LLC or the people who license material to us. You may view and share its pages. The fonts are used under the SIL Open Font License.

6. No warranties, and limits on our liability

The website and the early-access list are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows.

To the fullest extent the law allows, StatusHawk is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any lost profits or lost data, arising from your use of the website or the early-access list.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top shows when they last changed. If we make a material change, we’ll say so on this page.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
